Peach Galette – Not only looks good and tastes great, this dish is also very easy to make, you don’t need a pan of dough, just roll the dough and add fresh fruit mixed with butter, sugar and cornstarch.

Ingredient:
Makes about 4 servings
Earth’s crust:
1 1/4 cup flour
1 stick (110g) cold unsalted butter, cut into small (1/2 inch) cubes, chilled in refrigerator up to one hour
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 to 6 tablespoons ice
pour until it’s full
2 or 3 yellow peaches
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 teaspoons corn starch
sugar, for decoration
Direction
1. Prepare the crust. Sift flour and mix flour with salt and sugar. Blend butter into dough, using a pastry blender, fork, or pastry processor, until crumbs form. Slowly add the water and stir until the water thickens. Cover with plastic wrap, knead slowly to form a disc, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
3. Cut the peaches into small pieces and put them in a bowl. Mix the sugar with the cornstarch and add on top of the peach slices. Add butter and shake gently to coat.
4. Use cling film to roll out a dough about 13 inches in diameter. Lift the rolled dough and place on a baking tray lined with parchment. ]
5. Arrange the peach slices in overlapping circles, starting at the edge of an inch and a half. Fold the edge of the dough over the filling and sprinkle the sugar on top.
