Puff Pizza Ring is an easy appetizer that you can prepare in minutes and have it ready when guests arrive. It looks pretty impressive and delicious and takes no more than 10 minutes to be ready in the oven.

1 sheet (9 oz – 275g) puff pastry, defrosted

1 cup (100g) grated mozzarella cheese
2 oz 60g) Pepperoni slices
2 tablespoons (15g) grated Parmesan cheese
Cover the food
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon (7g) grated Parmesan cheese

1. Preheat oven to 400º F (200C) and line baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Open the puff pastry and use a rolling pin to roll it out a bit to make it wider.

3. Use a knife, pizza cutter, or pastry cutter to cut thin strips that are ⅔ the length of the pastry.

5. Top with Mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices and Parmesan in this order.

6. Separate the dough strips slightly and start folding the dough with the filling covering the strips.

7. Carefully transfer the diary to the prepared baking tray, forming a circle and sealing the edges.

8. Beat the beaten egg on top of the ring and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.

9. Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
