7 oz (200g) semi-sweet chocolate
2/3 cup (150g) unsalted butter
4 eggs
2/3 cup (135g) sugar
1/4 teaspoon (1g) salt
1 teaspoon (5g) vanilla extract
1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
Cream cheese frosting
14 oz (400g) cream cheese
1 teaspoon (5g) vanilla extract
3 tablespoons (60g) honey

Instruct
Preheat oven to 350F (180C). Butter an 8-inch (20 cm) pan and line with parchment paper.
Melt chocolate and butter over bain-marie sauce until smooth. Let cool to room temperature.
Meanwhile, beat eggs with sugar and salt with a whisk or mixer until thick and pale yellow. Mix in vanilla extract.
Add melted chocolate and mix until well combined.
Use a spoon to mix the sifted flour. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
Bake for about 25 minutes until done. Run a sharp knife around the inside edge of the pan. Let cool for 10 minutes and invert onto a serving plate. Let cool completely.
Prepare the cream cheese frosting.
In a separate mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
After the cake cools, spread cream cheese evenly over the top of the cake.
Decorate with chocolate eggs of various sizes and colors. Enjoy!
