We start with fresh Brussels sprouts, giving them the perfect crunch by roasting them with butter, garlic and Parmesan cheese.

How to Make Roasted Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

Ingredient

1 pound (500g) Brussels sprouts, shredded and cut in half
3 tablespoons (40g) unsalted butter
1/2 cup (50g) Parmesan cheese, shredded
garlic powder
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instruct

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Melt the butter and pour it onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spread evenly.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese all over the butter.
Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
Place the Brussels sprout halves cut side down on top of the Parmesan cheese and butter.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the Brussels sprouts are tender and the Parmesan is crisp and golden brown.
Cool for 5 minutes before removing from baking tray.
Gently separate the Brussels sprouts before serving.
