Challah Bread is a type of Jewish braided bread served on Shabbat and special holidays. This bread is different from a regular bread because the dough is enriched with eggs and oil which makes the bread unbelievably soft and has great flavor. While baking, it takes on a deep golden color that makes the bread simply irresistible. Here is the Round Challah and 6 Strand Challah recipe, hope you guys will try it.

Making
1.Prepare challah bread dough
It’s easy to prepare this bread dough.
Pour water, salt, sugar, oil, eggs, yeast into a bowl and combine it all together.
Now add the flour and mix together to form a shaggy dough.
Transfer the dough to a clean work surface and knead the dough for 9-10 minutes.
After kneading, our dough will be soft and smooth.
Put it in a bowl.
Cover it with a damp cloth or with a plastic film.
2. Powder supply
Keep the covered bowl in a warm place for 45 minutes so the dough can ferment and rise, this is the first test.
3. Divide and let the dough rest
After the first try, punch the dough down.
Then divide the dough into equal parts, divide the dough into 2 equal parts and then divide into 6 equal parts.
Roll each portion into a round ball.
Hold the dough balls, covered for about 8 minutes.
4. Shaping Challah Braided Bread
Roll out each dough ball and then shape it into a long cylindrical strip (about 20 cm) by rolling it out.
Place each of them on the counter until we have finished the rest of the reels and then take the first roll that we have shaped.
Lengthen the dough by pulling the dough and then rolling it out.
When it’s about 30cm long, keep it aside until we’ve finished all six.
Please watch the video to learn how to braid six-strand challah bread.
Place the six strips parallel to each other and then clamp the ends of the strips together.
5. ultimate growth
Before we give them a final rinse, we can wash the eggs.
In this simple challah recipe, we’re doing a wash of two eggs to get a nice shine and golden color to our simple challah bread.
If you don’t want to wash the eggs, you can skip this step.
Cover the tray with plastic film and let the tray rest and insulate for 90-120 minutes.
After the water boils at last, let’s wash one more egg and then sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.
This will give a nice shine and golden brown color to our easy challah bread.
Now they look great and are ready to go.
6. making challah bread
Bake the challah in a preheated oven at 350F or 180C for 28-30 minutes or until golden brown.
After baking, we will get soft and fluffy challah bread, golden brown in color.
This challah bread is one of the best challah bread we can make at home.
