How to Make Greek Fried Feta

Ingredient

Make 2 slices of fried feta

1 cube feta, (5oz-150g), cut into triangles
1/3 cup (40g) flour
2 oz (60g) sesame seeds
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup (60g) olive oil for frying
Honey, drizzle on top

Instruction

To prepare the fried feta, start by cutting the feta cheese into small cubes, about 1.5cm thick.
Crack eggs into a bowl and beat with a fork. In another bowl, add the flour, paprika and pepper and mix well with a spoon to combine the ingredients. Into the third bowl, add sesame seeds.
Roll each piece of feta in eggs and then roll in flour. Roll each piece in egg and then add sesame until it covers all sides.
Heat about 6-7 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan, just enough to cover the bottom of the pan, and fry the feta until nicely colored. Use a slotted spoon to flip the fried feta so it gets a nice color on all sides. When finished, place on some kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
Meanwhile, heat the honey in a pot or microwave until it becomes liquid.
Serve the fried feta while still hot with a drizzle of honey.
