How to Make Garlic Butter Chicken

Ingredient

1 ½ pounds (700g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
salt
freshly ground pepper
dried oregano leaves
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup (120ml) chicken broth
1/4 cup (56g) unsalted butter
5 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon (1g) chili powder
1 teaspoon (1g) chili powder
fresh parsley, for garnish
lemon slices, for decoration

Instruct:

In a shallow dish, mix 1/4 cup flour with 1 teaspoon garlic powder and salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
Butter the chicken breasts through the middle to create 4 even chicken breasts. Dip each piece in the dough (press the dough in to coat it evenly), shake well, then set aside.
Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the chicken breasts and fry until golden on all sides and hot in the middle. About 3-5 minutes per side depending on thickness. Set aside.
Reduce heat to medium and add garlic. Fry for 1-2 minutes until it starts to brown then pour in the stock. Use a wooden spoon to scrape any flavor from the pan, then add the remaining 5 tablespoons of butter. Whisk briefly as it melts to bind with the juice, it will turn slightly cloudy. Sprinkle with parsley and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Let it boil for a few minutes until it begins to thicken, then reduce the heat to low and add the chicken back in. Drizzle the sauce, then pour more sauce on top and squeeze more lemon juice to taste
