Our delicious vegetable sauce meatballs are packed with healthy vegetables that will leave your family satisfied in taste!
Ingredient
500g minced meat
100 ml milk
50g bread crumbs
1 egg
salt and pepper
oil
celery

Instruct
Step 1
Combine minced meat, onion, basil, egg, and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Shape 1 tablespoon of the mixture into a flat circle. Place 1 piece of cheese in the center of the circle. Shape the mixture around the cheese to form a ball. Repeat with remaining mixture and cheese.
Step 2
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the meatballs in batches, turning for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown. Switch to disk. Wrap with foil.
Step 3
Heat remaining oil in pan. Add celery, carrot, and zucchini. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until celery begins to soften. Add tomatoes. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add the tomato paste, shredded broth, and 1 cup cold water. Boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer, covered for 30 minutes or until sauce thickens.
Step 4
Return the meatballs to the pan. Simmer, covered for 5 to 7 minutes or until meatballs are fully cooked. Serve the meatballs and sauce with spaghetti.
